BLOOD OF MY BLOOD
A grand old time at a garden party in the Garden of Eden. Adam & Eve’s wedding, where John Milton’s Best Man speech goes a little off the rails. A story about queer and sexual liberation, transhood, and body positivity, using sources including the 9th book of John Milton’s Paradise Lost, The Bible, and cast’s sex lives.
“Look on me! Me who have touched and tasted yet both live
And life more perfect have attained than fate.”
Using such an accessible and familiar story as that of Adam and Eve, a cast of 14 and a creative team of 10 came together to give their audiences opportunities to understand love, loss, longing, trust, sex, and pleasure.
